Our Team – Luca Antiga

Luca is the team’s Data Analytics Advisor. He has a PhD in Bioengineering and worked in biomedical research between 2000 and 2009, focusing on medical image analysis and mathematical modeling of biological processes, in close contact with clinical research. During this time and over the last 15 years he collaborated with leading institutions in the field, co-authored over 50 peer-reviewed scientific publications and contributed to several open-source efforts in scientific software. In 2009 he co-founded Orobix, an artificial intelligence engineering company, where he is CEO and scientific lead. His main interests revolve around the application of artificial intelligence approaches to the design of end-to-end solutions in life science and industry.
